While Guy Ritchie has plenty of shows on TV right now, his best series so far, MobLand, returns on September 18. When Guy Ritchie first emerged with the legendary one-two punch of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch between 1998 and 2000, the British director was immediately seen as the UK’s answer to Quentin Tarantino. While the pair share a penchant for gangster movies, blackly comic moments of violence, character comedy, and snazzy soundtracks, Ritchie has since done plenty to distinguish himself from the American filmmaker.
