When it comes to how women are portrayed on television, we've come a long way. Although there are still some stereotypes floating around, women are typically depicted as so much more than just a housewife or mother. Now that we've moved way past the I Love Lucy and The Brady Bunchera, women are holding their own as multi-faceted, complex characters. Unfortunately, there are still some writers who craft women who feel more like clichés — looking at you, Taylor Sheridan— but Guy Ritchie is currently avoiding that pitfall in his own shows.
