Guy Gardner is expanding his DC footprint. Nathan Fillion‘s Green Lantern has entered another beloved DC title following his role in Lanterns. He’s not in a brand-new TV show or movie, but in an iconic, long-running fighting video game by NetherRealm Studios.

Lanterns’ Guy Gardner has joined Injustice 2 Mobile. He’s now part of a huge roster of playable characters. A new trailer teases what Injustice 2 Mobile players can expect from Guy Gardner’s debut and his various move sets.

How Guy Gardner expands Injustice 2 Mobile’s Green Lantern Corps roster

Guy Gardner’s addition has expanded Injustice 2 Mobile’s Green Lantern Corps roster, alongside Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and Emerald Green Lantern.

Nathan Fillion’s character’s addition is part of a collaboration between the game and DC’s Lanterns TV series. It sees Guy Gardner meeting John Stewart to help solve the murder mystery involving Jordan in Rushville, Nebraska.

Notably, the expanded roster will only make players more invested in Injustice 2 Mobile ahead of a brand new installment. Soon, the franchise is expected to witness Injustice 3. While NetherRealm Studios has yet to announce it officially, recent leaks hint that the third installment is in active development.

Injustice 2 Mobile launched in 2017 and has offered plenty of content for fans with the constant addition of new playable characters.

Fillion’s Gardner initially appeared in the DCU with 2025’s Superman, led by David Corenswet in the titular role. The 55-year-old was then seen in Peacemaker Season 2 before his Lanterns debut.

Next up, he will reprise his role in the Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow. The movie also features Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, among others.

Fillion will also appear as Guy Gardner in an upcoming animated DCU TV series, Mister Miracle.
