When Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) inherit Woodstone Manor in the Ghosts pilot, they fall in love with the estate, not realizing it's haunted. Initially, the spirits think the new couple isn’t that bad, but when they realize that the Livings want to open a B&B at Woodstone Manor, they decide to display their full powers. Many spirits revealed their abilities in the pilot, but the show continues to bestow new powers as the seasons continue, like Hetty’s big power reveal in Ghosts season 4.
