NYC Blerds, nerds, anime lovers, and gamers, rejoice: New York Comic Con is back, and you know what that means- the best cosplayers have come out to play.

Like we always do at this time, HipHopWired/CassiusLife was on the ground for the biggest fan convention on the East Coast, immersing ourselves in all things nerdy.

The annual convention is ground zero every year not just for collectors to drop coins on hard-to-find comic books, Funko Pops, models, and other collectibles; it also serves as a safe space for blerds and nerds from all walks of life to celebrate pop culture icons and their favorite superheroes or supervillains, for that matter.

Only at New York Comic Con can you see Spider-Man chopping it up with Superman. Batman rubs shoulders with Wolverine and so on, thanks in large part to the cosplayers who show up and show out every year.

Case in point: peep this awesome Spider-Man and Venom crossover cosplay from cosplayer @bombshellbeckie, which showcases the amazing attention to detail that goes into these creations.
