Disco Presents is bringing its Freaky Deaky Halloween IP back to New Orleans, where it all started for founder “Disco Donnie” Estopinal.

Freaky Deaky is hosting two whole Halloween festivals in 2026. With the lineup already out for its Austin gathering, Disco Presents has now announced the debut of Freaky Deaky NOLA at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans on October 30-31.

The storied rave promoter is joining forces with Encore Entertainment and Amps Events on the inaugural edition of the festival. But it’s not Disco Presents’ first time working with people involved with the latter brand on a NOLA Halloween event. Shortly before the turn of the millennium, company founder “Disco Donnie” Estopinal first teamed up with Rob Brunet of Amps on Freakfest, which — contrary to its name — has no relation to Freaky Deaky.

“It started with Freakfest in 1998 — my first festival with Disco Donnie, held outdoors at the UNO Lakefront Arena with well over 10,000 people through the gates,” said Brunet of the gathering hosted under Estopinal’s original Freebass Society brand. “Nearly 30 years later, we’re bringing Freaky Deaky New Orleans outdoors to the iconic Mardi Gras World.”

Encore, on the other hand, is a local rave promoter known for its annual Halloween event, Hell’s Gala. But the event won’t take place this year so that the company can shift its focus entirely to Freaky Deaky NOLA.

“Hells Gala had an incredible run,” said Encore Entertainment Founder Ryan Roach. “We’ve spent the last several years building Halloween weekend into something fans travel for, and worked with some amazing people who helped bring our vision to life. When the opportunity arose to join forces with Amps Events, Metro NOLA, and Disco Presents, it was clear we had a chance to dream even bigger, and we can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working on.”

“I threw my first underground events here more than 30 years ago, and this city will always be my first love,” Estopinal added. “There’s no place quite like New Orleans, especially on Halloween. New Orleans is a part of my DNA, and Freaky Deaky has grown into one of the most recognizable brands we’ve ever built.”

At the time of writing, no lineup details have been announced for the 2026 debut of Freaky Deaky NOLA. Fans can nonetheless expect all the trappings of an EDM festival, including “two nights of world-class talent, immersive décor, themed experiences, local vendors,” and more, according to organizers.

Limited blind presale tickets are currently on sale for $90 including fees. Purchase yours via Eventim, and look out for further announcements.
