Former French PM Lionel Jospin, figure of the 'plural' left, dies

Former French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin passed away at the age of 88. Jospin was head ⁠of government under ​the centre-right President ‌Jacques Chirac from ‌1997 to ​2002 during cohabitation and embodied what he called the 'plural left'.
