Forget Scream, One of the Best Horror Satires of the Decade Is Officially Getting a Sequel

Paramount Pictures is officially drawing a big red bloody heart around the date for Heart Eyes 2. The sequel to last year's unexpected horror rom-com hit is now confirmed for a global release on February 11, 2028, just in time for the Heart Eyes killer to make his return ahead of Valentine's Day. Josh Ruben will once again be at the helm, not only directing but also co-writing the script with Darcy Fowler, based on a story by the also-returning Christopher Landon and Michael Kennedy. The reunions don't stop there, as Paramount is also teaming with Spyglass Media Group, its go-to Scream partner, to make this romantic slasher return a reality.
