If you asked a hardcore Final Fantasyfan what their favorite game in the series was, you'd end up with a few of them piling up at the top. Final Fantasy 7 is a genre-defining game, and it's clear how much Square Enix itself values it with all of its releases and the massive remake trilogy project.
