Recently, the businessman landed in another controversy where Farah Khan had to take a stand for the couple.Popular director Farah Khan recently shared a vlog on her YouTube channel featuring the couple Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra. The vlog sparked mixed reactions among the audience and ended up creating a series of negative comments. To shut down the negativity, the Om Shanti Om director had to take a stand for the couple.

Reacting to the troll, Farah wasted no time to defend Raj Kundra and answered back with, "Unlike you, I don't judge people by what I read. I decide that after I spend time with them. You should not believe everything written. Lots is exaggerated."

The couple is currently under investigation for allegedly defrauding several businessmen of around 60 crores. The authorities are currently examining their travel records, checking everything to investigate the claim that they misused the funds meant for business expansion for personal use.

The advocate stated, "My clients have been informed by a certain segment of electronic and print media that there is an alleged case registered against my clients at the Economic Offence Wing, Mumbai. At the outset, my clients deny all the allegations against them , which are purely civil in nature and have been adjudicated by the NCLT Mumbai on 04/10/2024. This is an old transaction, wherein the company went into financial distress and eventually got entangled in a long legal battle at the NCLT."

The advocate stated that there was no criminality involved and that their auditors had submitted all the records and required documents.
