Previously unseen photos of Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm from The Fantastic Four: First Steps have surfaced online. The images, shared by fan gallery site Vanessa Kirby Nation, show the actress in the Invisible Woman’s pale blue team uniform and period-accurate 1960s wardrobe. Studios commonly produce such shots for camera tests, merchandise, and promotional campaigns.

Kirby drew widespread acclaim for her portrayal of Sue Storm in the MCU’s retro-futuristic debut of Marvel’s First Family. The film pulled in $521.9 million worldwide and sits at 86% on Rotten Tomatoes. Director Matt Shakman described Sue as “the most emotionally intelligent person” on the planet.

The actress will next appear as the Invisible Woman in Avengers: Doomsday, arriving in theaters this December. In a July 2025 interview with Variety, Kirby opened up about working with Robert Downey Jr. on the upcoming sequel. “Robert’s never not been on set. He’s always there. He is our leader. We call him our Godfather,” she told the outlet.

Kirby also discussed the experience of filming the Avengers sequel while expecting her first child. “It’s been amazing being pregnant and working on ‘Avengers.’ I felt so inspired and so relieved that I’ve been so taken care of,” she said. “Robert is just doing incredible work. I’m so excited,” she added about her co-star’s performance as Doctor Doom.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm. Julia Garner portrays Silver Surfer while Ralph Ineson plays the planet-devouring Galactus.

The film is currently available on Digital, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and Disney+.
