The long-awaited third season of House of the Dragon is finally here, and it started with a bang — or in this case, a wave crash. The series chronicles the major Westerosi civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons, fought between Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) and her usurper siblings, as well as her former friend and current Queen Mother, Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke). Following a somewhat shortened and anti-climactic Season 2, Season 3 went right into the thick of it with a solid episode that featured one of the series' most elaborate setpieces thus far.
