Right now is an exciting time to be a James Bond fan, and the franchise officially returned today with one of its best releases in months. The last official James Bond movie came back in 2021 with Daniel Craig’s swan song with the character in No Time to Die. Bond had been around for years before Craig, but he revolutionized the character in such a way that it makes it tough for whoever is going to follow in his footsteps as the next 007. There will inevitably be the next 007, too — Amazon is already hard at work on a new James Bond movie that’s being written by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) and directed by Denis Villeneuve (Dune: Part Three). Very little is known about the film at this time, and it’s way too early to predict when it could be released.
