Escape At Dannemora: What Happened To The Real Joyce Mitchell & Where She Is Now

The 2018 Showtime series Escape at Dannemora introduces us to the character of Joyce "Tilly" Mitchell. Though played by the spectacular Patricia Arquette on screen, the character is based on the real person who aided convicted murderers Richard Matt and David Sweat in escaping from the Clinton Correctional Facility in 2015. This prison break was obviously an absolutely massive deal, and Mitchell became infamous for her role in it. We see at least a version of why in Escape at Dannemora, but there's naturally more curiosity to go around.
