With Vinny Dingle actor Bradley Johnson having joined the likes of Olivia Bromley and Nick Miles set to leave Emmerdale, it looks like we may now know how he goes.

This bad news means breaking up one of the soap’s most heartwarming couples as Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) will be, thankfully, sticking around.

Vinny is head over heels in love with his first ever boyfriend and wants to show him how much he appreciates him.

He lays down some cash on a lovely, romantic holiday to Madeira as a surprise.

Big bro Ross Barton (Michael Parr) steps in and has a word with Lewis, encouraging him to step wildly out of his comfort zone and chase after his boyfriend.

Lewis takes the encouragement and makes a mad dash to the airport. He runs home, packs a bag, and sprints to get his taxi. But someone has other ideas.

As he heads to his cab, a van screeches to a halt nearby and Lewis is suddenly in very real danger.

Will Vinny assume when he doesn’t hear from Lewis that he doesn’t want to be with him anymore, and not come home?

And who is after Lewis?
