EastEnders spoilers follow for Tuesday’s (September 16) episode that is now available to view on BBC iPlayer. The episode in question will air on BBC One on at 7:30pm.

George Knight (Colin Salmon) has waved a temporary goodbye to the Square, much to the delight of Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway), who spent much of the latest episode trying to get him out of Walford.

Not because he has an issue with the former pub landlord – rather the opposite! Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), as viewers know, has been using Kojo Asare’s (Dayo Koleosho) flat to run his drugs operation, with Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) overseeing much of the daily duties.

Despite his reservations, Kojo has kept quiet about the whole thing, knowing that speaking out would endanger his best mate Harry’s life.

George, however, has come to suspect that there is reason to be concerned and, after Okie manipulated Kojo into taking drugs a number of weeks ago, the former publican is determined to do whatever it takes to protect his brother.

Earlier this week, George stormed over to the flat after acquiring Harry’s set of keys, hoping to catch Okie up to no good in order to prove his theory that the newcomer is not to be trusted.

Okie, however, covered his tracks, leaving George frustrated. Harry thought he was out of the woods but George requested to have a set of keys for the property cut and made it quite clear that he would be keeping an eye out for Kojo, which left Ravi insistent on having George ‘taken care’ of.

With the former Vic landlord on duty at Harry’s Barn at a doorman, Ravi and Okie set a plan in motion that would have him ‘taken off his feet’ for a while.

Determined to protect George – who is not only his best mate’s brother but also his girlfriend Gina’s (Francesca Henry) dad – Harry attempted to persuade George to take Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) up on his offer of commentating on a boxing tour, which would see him leave Walford immediately.

George was left with food for thought but felt it wasn’t the right time to up sticks and leave. Kojo, however, ultimately succeeded in persuading his sibling to take the opportunity, assuring him that he’ll be fine in his absence.

As a result, George left the Square.

Ravi clocked the exit and Harry was relieved to have secured George’s safety.

However, things were complicated further when Ravi and Okie reckoned that having George out of the picture meant that they’ll be able to use Kojo in their operation.

‘I don’t want to take drugs to Luton’, exclaimed Kojo and Harry agreed that he shouldn’t be involved in the operation at all.

Okie applied the pressure, however, and thus Harry persuaded Kojo to do as he’s told.

Ravi assured a horrified Harry that the plan would go off without a hitch but, to their shock, Okie arrived back in the Square without Kojo in tow!

Panicked, Harry set off to locate his best mate.

Will Kojo be okay?
