Before traversing into the prehistoric era for a heavy dose of bass music, check out our guide that breaks down the vibe and artists you can find at each stage at Lost Lands.
Since debuting Lost Lands in 2017, Excision has undoubtedly grown the festival to be the premier bass music destination in the U.S. for lovers of the genre. Year after year, the event has only improved, with Excision’s team careful to listen to fans’ comments, complaints, and concerns and address them for the following edition. This year proves to be no different, as Lost Lands gears up for its biggest showdown yet, taking place at Legend Valley, Ohio, from September 18-20.
Aside from the meticulous care and dedication that go into crafting this massive bass-fueled event, Excision offers a platform for artists to fully express themselves. Whether it’s a budding artist excited to finally get a chance to play on a festival stage, a scene legend trying out new genres, or a surprise quadruple back-to-back set between artists you’d never expect, the decks are ready for whatever comes during the weekend.
Across the festival’s stages, you’ll find different sounds and environments at each. For those who have never been to Lost Lands, deciding where to explore could be at the top of your list. Prehistoric Stage
Lost Lands’ main stage has only continued to impress year after year. The Prehistoric Stage notably received a significant upgrade in 2025, with its jaw-dropping stage design drawing massive attention.
This will be your point of contact for all the headliners and heavy hitters on the lineup, including ILLENIUM, Levity, Zomboy, Flux Pavilion, Kai Wachi, SLANDER, ATLIENS’ sunset set, the debut of Crankdat b2b ALLEYCVT, and more artists. Excision also performs two out of his three sets during the weekend on the Prehistoric Stage, with one being a two-hour set to close out the first night and the other being a back-to-back performance with scene mainstay Space Laces. Music will end around midnight here, while the festival’s other stages will continue into the early morning hours at reduced volume.
If you’re looking for top-tier bass on a larger-than-life stage with an insane sound system, make the Prehistoric Stage your home base at Lost Lands 2026.

Wompy Woods
Excision’s signature production continues at Wompy Woods, Lost Lands’ second-biggest stage. Festivalgoers can expect major names in bass music on stages like the Prehistoric Stage, including special b2bs and unique performances.
This year, you could catch Adventure Club throwing down their coveted throwback set, Seven Lions and Wooli taking us into the evening with their own sunset sets, and Eptic and LYNY going back-to-back for the very first time, along with fan favorites Subtronics and Level Up reuniting on stage for LEVELTRONICS. Wompy Woods is also typically home to Excision’s Detox Set on the last day.
For main stage feels and exclusive performances set alongside the trees, bring your group of headbangers over to the bass-laden Wompy Woods.

The Crater
Debuting in 2024 and spreading like wildfire across social media, The Crater’s immersive 360-degree stage has raised the bar for festival production. With artists performing in the center, attendees are surrounded by an ungodly amount of lasers and LED panels lining the interior, creating an audio-visual journey to truly get lost in.
Aside from glistening lasers surrounding you, The Crater is known for next-level b2bs, often with a multitude of artists on stage at once, and surprise sets all weekend. Barely Alive, Whethan, Trivecta, Doctor P, Champagne Drip, Flosstradamus, FuntCase, LAYZ, William Black, and many more have already been announced at this stage. A notable, nostalgic, non-bass mention on the lineup here is Krewella, who are getting ready to drop their fourth album, PEAK. There’s no doubt that whoever takes the stage and the surprise shenanigans that follow will have the community talking long after the festival ends.
Come early on Wednesday for the renowned Lost Lands pre-party, featuring the B2B2B2B Label Showcase between DPMO, Subsidia Records, Killed It!, and Monstercat vs. Disciple. Enjoy the expanded footprint at what will be the best year yet for The Crater. You never know just who will take the decks next.

Raptor Alley
Raptor Alley is usually tucked near the back of the festival and doesn’t start playing music until midnight, but that doesn’t make this stage any less prominent. A variety of genres can be found here, with this year’s lineup ranging from hardstyle to drum and bass, trap, and more.
Drum and bass enthusiasts can rejoice as artists like Reaper, Basstripper, Sigma, and Subsonic will be dominating the decks. For a serving of the heavier styles, artists such as Audiofreq, Lil Texas, and a back-to-back set from Darksiderz and MADGRRL will have you covered. Trap makes an appearance as well, as KILLMATTER, RemK, and SPORTMODE are set to play.
For a step away from the mania of the above stages and into a more intimate setting, check out Raptor Alley once the clock strikes midnight.

Forest Stage
Forest Stage continues the trend of showcasing the wider sounds of bass and dance music, with genres like drum and bass, dubstep, experimental bass, and even house on full display here.
D&b connoisseurs will surely spend a lot of time at Forest Stage, listening to producers like Delta Heavy, Bella Renee, Hedex, Mozey, and Imanu, including the return of ÆON:MODE b2b Blossom. Those looking for a break from bass music can tap into the house sounds of Stumpi, Wooli’s alias, Wax Motif, and additional bass house artists.
Those wishing to listen to music directly among the trees will enjoy the vibes of this smaller-scale stage.

This will be your home for all different types of bass music, but most importantly, it showcases the scene’s bright future.

Grove Stage
On Wednesday and Thursday, the Grove Stage will come to life among the forest. Make sure to lock in your Early Entry pass to experience additional bass excitement ahead of the festival’s start. This will also be the location for the silent disco throughout the weekend.

These artists are currently billed for Wednesday and Thursday only, but fans are hoping some surprises are in store to see these artists during the festival itself.
