Saturday Night Liveis going through a bit of upheaval lately, with numerous cast members leaving and the Please Don’t Destroy boys breaking up, but that means there are opportunities for interesting newcomers to join the cast — like up-and-coming comedian Veronika Slowikowska, who will be one of the new additions for the show’s upcoming 51st season. Slowikowska, who has a TikTok following, joins the proud legacy of Canada-born SNL cast members, which includes Martin Short, Mike Myers, Norm Macdonald, Phil Hartman, and Dan Aykroyd (not to mention creator Lorne Michaels himself). Those are either big shoes to fill or a very positive sign for things to come.
