Dexter: Resurrection, the sequel series to both the original Dexter and Dexter: New Blood, may have found a villain to rival John Lithgow's Trinity Killer. All the Dexter shows live and die by their villains. The list of the best Dexter villains has an almost perfect overlap with the list of the best Dexter seasons, with John Lithgow's Trinity Killer helping to make Dexter season 4 almost universally recognized as the pinnacle of the entire franchise.
