Nick Saban is on a different side of college football this season. Instead of being under stadium lights, he’ll be under the ones in College GameDay’s studio. Saban is still contributing to the sport he so dearly loves, now in a new role. On this new journey, he’s also making some good friends, especially with Pat McAfee.

Kristen Saban, ever the dutiful daughter, turned up at the College GameDay set to support her father. She picked up one fun moment between Nick Saban and Pat McAfee, who’ve grown more as friends with time. McAfee and Saban grooved to some beats on set, which sure had Kristen looking. “it’s the little dancey dance for me,” she wrote about her father’s lesser-known, fun-loving side.

Saban and McAfee also looked back on another fun moment from the show. The veteran coach tried to jokingly put the analyst in his place by engaging in an impromptu pointer stick-sword fight with him. McAfee and Saban’s hilarious antics are quickly becoming a much-awaited part of College GameDay.
