Rajinikanth's Coolie continues to dominate the domestic box office, managing to collect Rs 267.54 crore on its 14th day. The film has crossed another benchmark and continues to win hearts with its storyline. The film was released on August 14 and Coolie has emerged as the fourth-highest-grossing Tamil film of all time. The film has managed to break the record for the extended Independence Day weekend across India.

As per early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial has collected Rs 3.29 crore till 6 pm on Wednesday and has earned Rs 3.25 crore on day 12. The day 14 collection stands at Rs 267.54 crore. The film was released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Coolie recorded an overall 19.98% Tamil occupancy on Wednesday, while the Hindi version has a total occupancy of 9.63%. Coolie registered 19.39% overall occupancy in Telugu markets.

War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR has finished its second week in theaters and was one of the most anticipated releases of the year. According to trade sources, the film managed to earn Rs 2.46 crore on its 14th day and the total collection stands around Rs 229.71 crore. On the first day, the film earned Rs 52 crore and became the biggest Hindi film opener of the year. The movie witnessed a jump on its second day as it earned over Rs 57 crore.
