Clayface: Batman Fans Love New DCU Trailer, But One Thing Has Them Confused & Frustrated

Batman fans are adoring the latest Clayface movie trailer, but one issue is frustrating them. The R-rated DCU entry is helmed by James Watkins (Speak No Evil, The Woman in Black).

The final trailer for Clayface launched several hours ago and has been getting mostly positive reactions. However, fans still can’t figure out why there isn’t a way to buy box office tickets for the movie.

Expressing their disappointment over the tickets not being on sale, one fan, named @Michael22748691, wrote, “Tickets when for crying out loud ?”

Another user, @Grumpy__Rock, echoed the sentiment, asking, “When are tickets on sale?”

One more fan, @2011cherik, expressed their eagerness and asked the most important question to DC fans. They wrote, “How long have you been waiting for Clayface tickets to go on sale?”

At the moment, one of the most popular ticket-booking platforms, Fandango, does not offer tickets for Clayface. A message on its website reads, “We’ll notify you when tickets go on sale in your area and more for Clayface (2026).”

Why ticket sale questions have become part of the Clayface conversation

It’s beyond logic that the makers of Clayface haven’t enabled any option for fans to book tickets, given that the body-horror film comes out in exactly one month.

Many other upcoming and already-released superhero movies didn’t make such an absurd move. Take, for example, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Its tickets went on sale on June 17, 2026, more than a month ahead of its July 31 theatrical debut.

It ensured fans could obtain their tickets easily, rather than waiting in online queues or facing site crashes at the eleventh hour. Another MCU movie, Avengers: Doomsday, went even further with its strategy of offering tickets early.

Although it comes out on December 18, 2026, Doomsday’s advance tickets on Fandango went on sale on July 20, 2026, before the general tickets went on sale on August 14, 2026.

It’s still a mystery why Clayface tickets are still nowhere to be found online. Led by Tom Rhys Harries in the titular role, the movie hits theaters on October 23, 2026.
