Christina Hendricks’ best movies and TV shows exemplify her ability to play complex and layered characters even with brief screen time. Hendricks did not get her start in the industry as an actress, but as a model after competing for a teen magazine cover. Hendricks spent 10 years working as a model before booking jobs in music videos and commercials. She was even the hand model for the poster of American Beauty before starting to book roles on television.
