Chris Prattis best known for his roles in major sci-fi franchises like Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World. However, 2026 has been particularly unique for the Moneyball actor as he starred in one of the biggest sci-fi box office flops of the year with Mercy. Despite the combined star power of Pratt and his co-star, Rebecca Ferguson, the film was shockingly unable to recoup its budget. However, Star-Lord had no plans of backing down, launching a rather successful comeback with the highly anticipated premiere of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, the sequel to his 2023 video game adaptation, with the film grossing over $1 billion. That success follows its 2023 predecessor, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which grossed over $1.3 billion at the box office.
