Carlita continues her meteoric rise with the announcement of her sophomore album, Telepathy, alongside the release of her latest single, “One More Dance,” with Stevie Appleton.

Just one year after a phenomenal debut with Sentimental, Carlita is entering another major chapter of her career with the announcement of her 13-track sophomore album, Telepathy, which is due out on November 6 via Ninja Tune.

The Turkish-Italian DJ and producer started out playing bass in rock bands before discovering dance music, eventually landing her first DJ residency and early performances alongside her mentor, none other than the legendary DJ Tennis. Since then, Carlita has become one of the most sought-after and widely respected crossover artists in electronic music today, and Telepathy feels like a reinforcement of what has made her so successful.

Following her debut album, which highlighted a more instrumental and melodic side, her recent releases have continued to push her toward a more vocal and song-focused sound ahead of her upcoming project. The first taste of Telepathy is introduced through “One More Dance,” a warm, nostalgic collaboration with Stevie Appleton. With Appleton’s vocals flowing over Carlita’s pristine production, the track exudes a dreamy yet energetic vibe complemented by trance-like chords, fast-paced drums, and a rolling bassline that gives fans a peek at what’s ahead.

Two other singles have surfaced from Telepathy. “Patchwork” offers another side of Carlita’s sound, with Paige Cavell’s main vocal set against crisp open hats and a rolling bassline that gives it a romantic swing. Meanwhile, “Manhattan,” her hit collaboration with SOFI TUKKER, takes a more laid-back approach, standing out as one of the grooviest tracks in the collection with bouncy vocals that give it a distinctly uplifting feel. Cohesively, both tracks manage to reincorporate the ethereal chords heard on “One More Dance,” creating a thread between Carlita’s latest releases.

Telepathy will also feature collaborations with Justine Skye, Malive, Cleo Simone, Edd, jasper.wav, and Kosmo Kint. Alongside “One More Dance,” tracks titled “Rising Up,” “Solar Skin,” and “Tame My Love” hint at another project aligned with her eclectic style and ability to remain unconfined as an artist.

Carlita’s background as a multi-instrumentalist brings a strong sense of melody and instrumentation to her work, helping her move between club bangers and more emotional sounds. Telepathy is shaping up to be the perfect next step in her evolution, showcasing the power and sound of an artist who refuses to be defined by one style or lane.
