Cardano’s recovery is drawing fresh attention as whale activity reaches its highest level since June, but ADA still has a major hurdle to clear. Trading near $0.25, price needs to break above $0.31-$0.32 to strengthen the recovery and make a longer-term move towards $0.70 more credible. For now, buyers need to defend the $0.22-$0.25 base to keep that outlook intact.
Cardano Price Needs a Weekly Close Above $0.323
Cardano price is approaching an important weekly decision point after recovering from the $0.14-$0.15 region. ADA has pushed back into the same trend band that previously acted as resistance before the November 2024 breakout. Still, price has not yet established enough strength to confirm that another bullish transition is underway.
The weekly trend model shared by Trend Rider places $0.323 as the main confirmation level. A weekly close above this area would move ADA beyond the bearish trend band and signal that the larger structure is beginning to turn bullish. Until that happens, price remains vulnerable to rejection while trading inside the band.
The downside levels are equally clear. A close below about $0.22 would weaken the recovery and bring $0.18 back into focus, with the larger $0.14 support region next if selling pressure accelerates. This leaves ADA in a transitional phase, with $0.323 acting as the bullish trigger and $0.22 defining the first major risk level.

Cardano Price Prediction Targeting $0.3136
Cardano’s weekly structure is improving after price pushed above the long-running descending trendline and reclaimed the bull market support band. That combination matters because ADA is no longer only bouncing from the $0.15 area; it is now trying to hold above the same trend structure that previously capped the recovery.
The chart shared by The Boss shows the bull market support band clustered around the low-$0.22 region, with ADA trading back above it near $0.255. The $0.2242 and $0.2268 area therefore becomes more than simple horizontal support. It now overlaps with the moving support band and the rising black trendline, creating a broader confluence zone that bulls need to keep intact.
Above current price, $0.3136 is the first major resistance and the next clear test of the recovery. A clean break through that level would open $0.3825, followed by $0.4488 if momentum continues.

Cardano Whale Activity and Larger Wallet Holdings Build Around $0.25-$0.27
Cardano is seeing a clear increase in large-holder activity while ADA attempts to stabilize around the $0.25-$0.27 region. Santiment data shows 157 whale transactions worth more than $100,000, the highest level since June 4, while social dominance has climbed to 1.16%, its highest reading of 2026. That combination suggests that attention is rising at the same time bigger market participants are becoming more active.

The wallet distribution data shared by konnektr points in the same direction. Addresses holding more than 1 million ADA have continued increasing their total holdings even as the number of wallets in that category trends lower, indicating that more supply is becoming concentrated among fewer large holders.

Smaller wallets are showing the opposite pattern. The number of addresses holding less than 100 ADA has been increasing, but their combined holdings continue to decline. That creates a noticeable divergence between growing participation at the lower end and stronger concentration among the largest balances.
If this trend continues while ADA holds the $0.25-$0.27 region, it would provide a supportive on-chain backdrop ahead of the next technical test. The market still needs to clear $0.31-$0.32 for stronger confirmation, but rising whale activity and larger-holder concentration suggest that interest is building before that breakout attempt.
October Overall Crypto Momentum
October has opened with noticeably higher volatility across Bitcoin and Ethereum, but neither market has established a clean directional move yet. That uncertainty is keeping pressure on the wider altcoin market, where breakouts are becoming more dependent on whether BTC can settle into a stronger trend rather than continuing to swing inside a volatile range.
For Cardano, the timing is important because ADA is already approaching the $0.31-$0.32 resistance zone. If Bitcoin begins to recover with stronger follow-through and Ethereum also stabilizes, Cardano would have a better chance to extend its own breakout attempt.
Until then, ADA may continue to struggle for sustained acceptance above resistance, with broader crypto momentum likely to remain one of the main factors shaping the next move.
Cardano Price Analysis: $0.70 Could Shape the Route Toward $1.90
Cardano’s longer-term setup is beginning to resemble an earlier cycle structure, although the comparison does not imply that the same percentage move will repeat. Jesse Peralta highlights the current recovery from the $0.20-$0.25 region alongside ADA’s 2020 base, where a strong initial advance was followed by a deep retracement before the larger trend accelerated.
The scenario places $0.70 as the first major upside level if ADA can continue building above its present range. From there, a pullback toward roughly $0.55 would still fit the historical structure rather than automatically invalidate it, provided buyers continue defending the broader recovery.
A successful hold above that retracement zone would then place greater emphasis on $1.90 as the next larger target in the sequence. The chart therefore frames the move less as a straight rally and more as a possible progression of expansion, correction and renewed continuation.
For now, the nearer technical levels remain important. ADA still needs to establish itself above the $0.31-$0.32 resistance area before the $0.70 objective becomes more credible.

What Traders Should Watch Next
Cardano’s next move is likely to depend on whether the $0.22-$0.25 base continues to hold while price works through the $0.31-$0.32 resistance zone. The recovery has gained support from stronger whale activity and improving wallet concentration, but those signals still need confirmation from price before the broader trend can be considered decisively stronger.
A sustained break above $0.31-$0.32 would improve the case for a move toward $0.38 and higher, while another rejection could keep ADA confined to its current range.
Broader crypto momentum will also remain important, particularly if Bitcoin and Ethereum begin to establish a clearer direction after a volatile start to October.
