Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans around the world are thirsty to garner more details about the Chloé Zhao-helmed follow-up series that will see Sarah Michelle Gellar return to the role that not only made her famous but turned her into an icon. Titled Buffy the Vampire Slayer: New Sunnydale, the project is slated to pick up years after the original series ended and introduce audiences to a new slayer by the name of Nova (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), with Gellar’s Buffy Summers taking on more of a mentor role.
