While it's exciting that Boston Blue is hosting a Blue Bloods reunion in its premiere, the reason why it's happening is a bit disappointing, as it counters what made the original show so successful. The CBS police procedural series ran for 14 seasons and 293 episodes before ending in December 2024. As anyone could deduce, Blue Bloods was a massive triumph.
