A controversial influencer who has used crystal meth to stay thin has been taken to hospital after a suspected overdose during a live broadcast.
Braden Eric Peters, known as Clavicular, was filmed greeting fans in a Miami shopping centre when he appeared to zone out.
The 20-year-old American content creator told fans he was ‘f***in destroyed’ and ‘absolutely gone’ before the stream cut out.
TMZ obtained 911 audio of the emergency call where friends of the Kick and TikTok star requested urgent assistance for a ’20-year-old male overdose’.
Clavicular has previously gained notoriety on Kick for documenting his ‘looksmaxxing’ routine, which includes bone smashing his face to create a chiselled jawline.
He has also admitted to taking anabolic steroids, lipodissolve products, and using crystal meth as a tool to maintain a lean physique.
During the livestream, Peters was seen being led to a restaurant booth by fellow creator Androgenic, who asked the influencer how ‘f***ed’ he was.
He replied he was ‘gone’ before the footage ended as someone else asked if he wanted an ‘addy’, a reference to the prescription stimulant Adderall.
The looksmaxxing movement, which has roots in incel forums, encourages men to use radical methods to enhance their physical appearance.
It involves ‘softmaxxing’, which includes grooming and fitness, and ‘hardmaxxing’, which is much more controversial and includes surgery and ‘bone smashing’ to achieve features like a chiselled jawline.
The incident at the Miami mall occurred just days after Clavicular appeared on Australia’s 60 Minutes to talk about the extreme looksmaxxing subculture.
During the interview, he described looksmaxxing as ‘self-improvement’ and an attempt to ‘disassociate from being an incel’.
He also revealed he began taking anabolic steroids at just 14, and turned to ‘bone smashing’ and drugs to appear more masculine.
When reporter Adam Hegarty raised his ties with controversial figures like Andrew Tate, Clavicular retorted, ‘I see you want to make this political,’ before walking out of the interview.
