The episode opens with Taylor, who is increasingly worried about what Sheila will do to Deacon. Meanwhile, Sheila is surprised to see that Deacon stayed back even after she showered. They go on to discuss who should be considered to blame for all this drama.

Sheila comes near him and holds his hands, asking him to fight for their marriage. At the cliff house, Hope shows up to ask Taylor if she’s aware of Deacon’s whereabouts, only to find out that Sheila now knows about their dad’s affair.

Sheila wants Deacon to fight for their love

Sheila attempts her best to convince Deacon that they belong together. However, Deacon is worried that she might unleash her anger on Taylor. He reveals that he’s proud of Sheila for becoming a changed woman, but he confesses wanting to spend the rest of his life with the therapist. He mentions that he loves her truly.

Steffy blames Deacon

Elsewhere, Steffy leaves no opportunity to cast blame on Deacon. Hope argues that this love story wasn’t one-sided and that Taylor is equally responsible. Finn interrupts, reminding them that Sheila once tried to kill Taylor. Ridge also recaps Sheila’s pizza cutter incident, leaving Hope worried about her dad.

Sheila learns that the kids knew about the affair

Deacon tells Sheila that being with Taylor isn’t something only he wants, but his kids expect the same as well. Sheila asks whether they knew all along, with Deacon admitting through expressions. She blames herself for being in the dark, but in the end, she accepts that no one will want to live with a woman who’s an embarrassment.

She remains aware that she has done bad things and asks Deacon to tell her that their marriage isn’t over. Realizing that she won’t get the words of assurance, she decides to leave before she does something bad. Deacon asks her to promise that she won’t seek revenge.

Sheila makes a tough decision

As the whole house protests, Taylor and Hope are desperate to check on Deacon. Hope strongly believes that Taylor deserves to be in her dad’s life. Ridge interrupts to apologize to Taylor, as he believes his love story with Brooke forced the therapist to go to a man like Deacon. Taylor clarifies that she went to Deacon willingly. Sheila reassures Deacon that she won’t harm anyone, although the reality hurts her a lot. She hopes Deacon is aware of how much she loves him before planting a kiss on his lips and leaving.

Deacon is relieved that Sheila is gone. At Il Giardino, Sheila flashes through the good memories with her husband. As she takes a sigh, she says, “I’ll be back. This isn’t over for us, Deacon,” before turning off the lights and departing.
