Blizzard has officially taken legal action against the popular fan-made World of Warcraftexpansion, Turtle WoW, for using copyrighted materials and profiting from them. The move is not very surprising to many players, considering Turtle WoW's blatant use of WoW assets and a recent rise in adverts and news coverage of the fan-made server. The lawsuit could very well spell the end of Turtle WoW's eight-year run as a go-to WoW Classic alternative.
