Star Wars is undoubtedly the biggest science fiction franchise in history, with one specific show taking that and blending it with a more modern, unique sci-fi concept from Black Mirror. The best sci-fi franchises tend to be those that reinvent themselves as they go, with Star Wars exemplifying this just like any other. Although the current batch of Star Wars movies and TV shows still have the feel of George Lucas' original trilogy, there is no denying how they also take the franchise in new directions.
