Bishop's Exit From 'The Rookie' Is More Complicated Than You Think

After eight seasons, The Rookie has offered audiences healthy doses of drama and an equal measure of fun and laughter through its intricate stories centered around John Nolan (Nathan Fillion), a 40-something rookie officer, and the cops at the Mid-Wilshire precinct. Throughout the seasons, the show has lost cast members like Tru Valentino or Titus Makin Jr. Some left of their own accord, but other left because of unforseen circumstances. One startling departure came in the form of Afton Williamson, who playedTalia Bishop, leaving the show after Season 1.
