At the peak of its popularity, when episodes were regularly drawing in 18 to 20 million views, The Big Bang Theory was big enough to do something that its main characters would've loved — attend San Diego Comic-Con. Jim Parsons and the rest of the cast behind the show's nerdy friend group appeared at the event multiple times throughout their historic, ten-time-Emmy-winning run on television. The last time they graced the San Diego Convention Center was in 2018, ahead of what would be their 12th and final season on CBS. However, the universe the show kickstarted has only continued to thrive, with prequel spin-offs Young Sheldon and Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage finding plenty of success in their own right. Now, the franchise has returned to the convention for the first time in nearly a decade to promote its most ambitious series yet.
