Ariana Grande Makes Things Instagram Official After Reuniting With Her Ex

Ariana Grande is taking things with boyfriend Ricky Alvarez to the next level, after sharing new pictures with him on her official Instagram page.

The Grammy-winning singer and back-up dancer first dated for around a year in the 2010s before parting ways, but sparked speculation earlier this year that they had reunited, following Ariana’s split from her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater.

On Wednesday, the Thank U, Next singer posted some candid snaps from behind the scenes of her ongoing world tour, including a few pictures that featured herself and Ricky looking cosy.

While admittedly, none of these pictures showed Ricky and Ariana without something obscuring them, she made sure to tag him so that fans knew exactly who it was in the personal snaps.

Earlier this week, Ariana arrived in London ahead of her 10-night stint at the O2 Arena, which will mark the final stretch of her Eternal Sunshine tour.

After her final show on 1 September, her team recently shared that the performer will be taking some time out of the spotlight, and she has cancelled a planned appearance in a London revival of the musical Sunday In The Park With George, which would have reunited her with Wicked actor Jonathan Bailey.

Her spokesperson told People magazine earlier this month: “Ariana will be taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour.

“She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny.”

They added: “This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much.”

Ariana had previously indicated that her Eternal Sunshine shows would be her last time performing live for the foreseeable future, reiterating to her fans last week: “The announcement that was made yesterday was not a reactive or impulsive thing. It is something that I had decided to plan that I had quietly made a long time ago and it’s a decision that was made from a thoughtful and empowered place.

“I want you to know that many things can be true at the same time. I want to share this because I heard that my fans were worried that negativity was ruining things for me, but I just have to say that could not be more the fuck opposite.”
