AR Rahman’s Wonderment Tour performed at Mumbai’s Jio World Garden on Sunday evening, drawing nearly 9,000 people for a sold-out, three-hour concert. The setlist featured compositions from across Rahman’s career, alongside newer works and performances by a line-up of singers.
The concert featured Jonita Gandhi, AR Ameen, Raghav Kaushik, Nakul Abhyankar, Heer and Rakshita, as well as several emerging singers introduced by Rahman. The band Rooh-e-Noor also performed during the evening.
Rahman took the audience through a setlist that included Jai Ho, Nadaan Parinde, Sadda Haq, Chaiyya Chaiyya, Tu Hi Re, Roobaroo Roshini, Pataka Kudi, Yuva, Hey Rama, Kehna Hi Kya, Khalbali and Tere Bina, among other songs.

A special moment during the concert was Rahman’s performance of Mangal Rang, his latest composition from the upcoming two-part epic Ramayana. Introducing the song, he spoke about the creative process and the importance of criticism in evaluating artistic work.
"Whatever little talent I have, I use that to bring beauty to the music in the film's soundtrack. They say if everybody likes your work, get out from the place. It is a famous quote for creative people. Work should be reviewed, criticised, and the work will be decided by time, whether it is good or bad."
The concert concluded with Maa Tujhe Salaam, with the audience joining in the performance.

The evening also featured emerging performers Deepali Sahay, known for Tere Paas Main, and Nilanjana Ghosh, associated with Mascara from Main Vaapas Aaunga.
The Mumbai concert follows the launch of The Wonderment Tour in 2025 at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The tour's format combines a full orchestra, multiple vocalists and visual production, with a repertoire spanning Rahman's body of work.
