This week, it was confirmed that one of the defining action thrillers of the '90s, the 1991 cult classicPoint Break, will be making a splash back in theaters for its 35th anniversary. The film starred Keanu Reeves as FBI Agent Johnny Utah, alongside the likes of Patrick Swayze, Lori Petty, and Gary Busey, and remains one of the biggest early turning points in a career that would soon blossom into Hollywood immortality. Excitingly, Point Break will return to theaters nationwide on August 16 and 19 in the form of a new 4K restoration released by Resurgence Media Group, Saga Arts, and Fathom Entertainment.
