Ant Middleton’s career has been left in tatters after his brother was accused of making ‘disturbing homophobic remarks’.

The former SAS: Who Dares Wins starwho was the Chief Instructor from 2015 until 2021, was booted off the Australian series The Amazing Race alongside his brother Dan, who he had previously been estranged from for six years.

TikTok stars Luke and ‘Sassy’ Scott O’Halloran allege that they were subjected to ‘homophobic’ slurs by Dan Middleton during the competition.

Following the altercation, Middleton and his brother were sent home for breaching the show’s code of conduct.

Now, industry insiders have claimed that the 44-year-old’s exit has effectively killed his prospects in Australian TV following his high-profile fall from grace in the UK.

‘Any talk of Ant returning for another season of SAS Australia or being considered for new formats on free-to-air has completely disappeared,’ the source told Daily Mail.

‘The networks don’t want the baggage anymore.’

The insider added: ‘This was supposed to be a fresh start. But the same problems followed him here. The aura around Ant as a no-nonsense tough guy has worn thin.’

Luke and Scott previously shared more details about their incident with Dan with the Daily Telegraph.

On the very first night of filming in Nepal, they said most contestants ‘went out to explore the local town’, while they opted for a night in the hotel.

‘When the rest of the contestants returned later, Dan Middleton approached us six times, making remarks and gestures that we found homophobic, offensive, intimidatory and disturbing,’ they claimed.

‘Each time he (Dan) came over to us, the encounters felt increasingly more aggressive.

‘At one point, he was right up in our faces, surrounded by some of the other cast members, who seemed to us to be as uncomfortable as we were.

‘At this point, (former AFL player and fellow contestant) Brendan Fevola physically stepped in, putting himself between us and Dan and trying to de-escalate the situation. Brendan did this more than once.’

The pair then said the show’s production company Eureka quickly launched an investigation, with Ant and Dan disqualified ‘by the next morning’.

Yesterday, Ant spoke at one of the largest far-right UK rallies in decades alongside the likes of Tommy Robinson and Laurence Fox.
