It's almost difficult to believe it's been over a decade since Tony Gilroy last stepped behind the camera in a feature-length production. For the past few years, he's been in the spotlight more as the creator of Andor, which has since been hailed as arguably the greatest television series to exist within the Star Wars universe. Before that, he had his fingerprints on several scripts as a writer, including Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and the Jon Hamm-led Beirut. 2012 marked his last major directorial effort when he took the reins for The Bourne Legacy, coming off of helming Julia Roberts' Duplicity in 2009 and the George Clooney-led Michael Clayton in 2008, which earned him Oscar nominations as both a writer and director.
