For the first time in nearly two decades, AMC Theatres is putting a first-run horror movie double feature on the big screen.

In partnership with Flawless and AMC Theatres, XYZ Films is bringing an intense horror movie double-feature to the big screen just for Halloween. This release revives a tradition that hasn’t been seen since Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’s Grindhouse, which was released in 2007.

“Consumers deserve a deal, and this double feature feels like the perfect way to celebrate Halloween Weekend,” John Hegeman said in a statement on behalf of XYZ Films and Flawless. “We want to drive audiences to theaters for great indie movies like these, and this is a creative way to do it. We’re grateful to AMC for bringing this event to horror fans nationwide.”

What movies are being shown as part of AMC’s horror double feature event?

On Halloween weekend, AMC Theatres will be showing a back-to-back double feature of Hallow Road and Vincent Must Die, all for the price of just one ticket. Check out a trailer for the event below (watch more trailers and clips):

Directed by Babak Anvari, Hallow Road stars Rosamund Pike and Matthew Rhys.

“Golden Globe & Emmy Award-winning and BAFTA & Academy Award-nominated Rosamund Pike (Saltburn, Gone Girl) and Emmy and Critics Choice Award winner Matthew Rhys (The Americans) star as parents in a race against time after a late-night call from their daughter, who has just struck another young woman while driving her father’s car,” the synopsis reads. “As they venture deeper into the night, chilling revelations threaten to tear their family apart—and they may not be the only ones driving down Hallow Road.”

Anvari said in a statement, “This is such a great opportunity for indie movies to be enjoyed by the widest possible audience. We’re thrilled to be part of this Halloween event and grateful to AMC for supporting global cinema.”

Vincent Must Die, meanwhile, is directed by Stéphan Castang and stars Karim Leklou and Vimala Pons.

The synopsis reads, “Ordinary man Vincent finds himself suddenly attacked by random strangers with murderous intent. As his once-quiet existence spirals into chaos, he is forced to flee and transform his life in this nerve-shredding horror classic. Vincent Must Die also marks Flawless’ second English-language theatrical release of the year, utilizing their critically-acclaimed AI-driven dubbing technology previously utilized by acclaimed film Watch the Skies.”
