Very few movies can claim to have actually changed the world, to have been so influential, so revolutionary that they shook the ground from under them and became a true before-and-after in the craft; Toy Story is one of them. Released in November 1995 and directed by Jon Lasseter, the film was the debut picture of the then-unknown Pixar Animated Studios and the first-ever computer-animated motion picture. Enthusiastically received and grossing over $400 million worldwide, the film was an unprecendented success and began a revolution in Hollywood that continues to this day.
