Though there is one less episode of Coronation Street set to air next week, that doesn’t mean that there is any less drama ahead, as our new gallery of pictures reveals.
The return of the Webster clan spells bad news for Carl (Jonathan Howard), who is still trying to find a way to pay off Tracy Barlow’s (Kate Ford) blackmail.
With Kevin (Michael Le Vell) keen to remind him that he is no longer welcome at the garage, Carl lets Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) and Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) know that he has a job for them.
Later, when a stolen car speeds past George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley), he is shocked to realise that Dylan is behind the wheel.
Meanwhile, Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) spends her 18th birthday getting drunk, before heading to the precinct after an argument with her mum.
It is there that she is left screaming in terror as a stolen car hits something with a loud crash.

The next day, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) is left reeling from the events of the previous day, while George reveals that to Dylan that he saw him driving the car that left one resident seriously injured in hospital.
Dylan denies it, but with Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) having revealed that the car had been burnt out, will the truth ever come out? And will the injured party pull through?
Elsewhere, Carl comes clean to Abi Webster (Sally Carman) about hiring Brody and Dylan to steal cars after Dylan’s caller ID pops up on his phone, but how will she react?

Also, David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) is frustrated to find more of Carla Connor’s (Alison King) recycling in his bin, but he is soon intrigued when he discovers a pregnancy test among it.
Assuming it’s Betsy’s, he shows Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), who rains on his parade when she points out that it could belong to Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner), given that David had already told her she had been fighting over lads and skiving off school.
When he finally learns who the true owner of the pregnancy test is, will he be able to keep it under wraps?
