‘Alien’ Meets ‘Black Hawk Down’ in the 10/10 Sci-Fi Thriller Officially Streaming on Netflix

Alien invasion movies traditionally involve enormous spaceships arriving above major American cities before somebody inevitably decides it’s time to blow up the White House. However, in 2009, a movie came along that threw a wild idea at us. What if the aliens arrived, didn’t conquer anybody, and instead became refugees imprisoned because we didn't trust them and wanted to exploit them for their resources? That premise turned into one of the most acclaimed science-fiction movies of the 21st century, and it's charting on streaming now.
