This October, Jennifer Lopez is making her return to the big screen with Kiss of the Spider-Woman, an adaptation of the stage musical created by Terrence McNally, John Kander, and Fred Ebb, and the original novel by Manuel Puig. Before viewers see her show off both her acting and singing chops in the deadly new role, however, HBO Max is giving subscribers a chance to see the film that helped launch her into superstardom. Starting September 1, the 1997 music biopic Selena will be available to stream on the platform.
