Few shows have an aesthetic as iconic as Power Rangers. From the moment Mighty Morphin Power Rangers arrived in 1993, the image of five superpowered heroes in matching costumes differentiated by colors was burned into the pop culture zeitgeist. Many different versions of the Rangers followed thanks to the franchise’s penchant for reinvention, but none made the immediate impact of MMPR.
