Several classic Westerns, such as The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance and McCabe and Mrs. Miller, are streaming for free in the month of July to celebrate Independence Day. However, one movie is about to be removed from its streaming home. It's a movie that was released during a period of great popularity for the 3D format in the 1950s, which presented a whole set of problems for the crew during production. The film's director eventually had to step away in order to fulfill prior commitments, and the remaining portions of the movie were shot by the legendaryJohn Ford — a filmmaker that Quentin Tarantino loves to hate. The irony is that the movie in question, like so many movies directed by Ford, was headlined by Tarantino's favorite Western star, John Wayne.
