Tom Hardy lit the world on fire earlier this year with his performance in MobLand, the crime thriller series from Guy Ritchie, but it’s far from the first time Hardy has led a crime show that’s garnered acclaim from critics and fans. For Hardy, 2017 brought on the release of Taboo, the gritty British mystery show following adventurer James Keziah Delaney, who returns to London during the War of 1812 to rebuild his father’s shipping empire as the government and competitors stand in his way. Taboo is streaming on Starz globally, and in addition to it rejoining the top 10 in countries like Kuwait and Qatar, it’s also in the VOD top 10 in Canada and other countries.
