Lieutenant Nyota Uhura has been an integral part of the Star Trek franchise for six decades, yet she’s never topped a piece of dialogue famously delivered just a handful of episodes into The Original Series. Played by Nichelle Nichols between 1966 and 1991, Uhura is a firm favorite among fans, and has featured in various sequel and prequel releases.
