If you’re a fan of JRPGs but are specifically looking for those that let you explore a vast, detailed open world endlessly, I’ve got a list of 10/10 treats for you to taste. To be honest, the open world JRPG is a weird category. A lot of these games either drown you in map icons or give you a huge empty field with nothing in it but a rock and a wolf. The good ones? They get the balance right and are big enough to feel like a real world but are packed with enough reasons to wander that you forget where you were even trying to go.
