When you think of the 2010s in particular, one of the first shonen franchises that naturally comes to mind is probably Naruto, followed by niche though still successful-for-their-time series like Seven Deadly Sins, Kuroko's Basketball, or perhaps even Sket Dance. That said, one hugely popular shonen franchise that often flies under the radar, especially these days, is Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail.
